Loch Fishing

Loch Cam is full of small bays and islands, which offer shelter to the angler as well as plenty of feed for the trout. At its deepest it runs down to 125 feet with ferox caught to 16 1/2 lbs. Loch Uragil, set at the heart of the estate, is teeming with trout and is the perfect place to take beginners. Loch Veyatie is a magnificent loch, sandwiched between the beautiful mountains of Cul Mor and Suilven. It offers excellent trout fishing and is also renowned for ferox as mentioned in Ron Greer’s book, Ferox Trout. The Loch is over 4 1/2 miles long and over 150 ft deep in places.

Salmon Fishing

The River Kanaird offers challenging fly fishing for both salmon and sea trout. The river is a classic West Coast spate river originating in the hills of west Sutherland and flowing into Ardmair Bay via Loch Kanaird. The two Keanchulish beats occupy four miles of double bank fishing on the lower river before it enters Loch Kanaird, also included is the River Runie tributary. An experienced ghillie is available who can offer some helpful advice so you get the most out of your day on the river. We can also provide access to a beautiful fishing hut for lunch, tea or just some shelter.
